
Gordon Trucking, Inc. is pleased to announce Ernest (Ernie) Sire as its January Driver of the Month.
While driving for GTI, Ernie put up some impressive numbers in January. His miles per gallon were at 7.47, his idle time below 1 percent and Ernie maintained a perfect service record for the company.
Ernie has been with GTI since 2003 and is currently driving for the Georgia Pacific Dedicated Fleet. His Fleet Manager, Casey Kuper said Ernie is an act to follow.

Alexandria, Va. - Gordon Trucking, Inc. was named a top 20 national carrier to drive for by the Truckload Carriers Association.
An official announcement was released on the TCA Web site on Jan 27. As stated on the announcement, months of nominations, interviews and scoring determined these top trucking companies that provide the best workplace experience for professional truck drivers.
A variety of factors were used in the interviews and scoring to determine the top 20 including work environment, pay, benefits, turnover and fleet-wide safety.

The divisional winners were announced Jan 30 on TCA’s official Web site and an official release came out of their headquarters in Alexandria, Va.

The home is expected to be completed this week and will provide shelter for a grateful single mother and her three sons. September 11-17, 2011 the nation celebrated Driver Appreciation week. At Gordon Trucking, we took this opportunity to spend a week dedicated specifically to thanking our drivers for their hard work.
